I tried to follow the chord changes of the backing track. I started of with an E since the scale is an E_Minor scale.. As the chord sequences change during the backing track I also tried to get a good change with a D (5th of G). Nearly at the end of the track I tried to slow it down with a simple repeating lick that just changes a little bit from the first to the second time. Also the whole solo end up with an E 
Not the best piece of work, but I couldn't make it sound better. It's recorded with guitar rig that's why it sounds so sterile and thanks to a bad noise gate most of the slides just don't sound that great.
